Clean After Every Use
Wipe your racket down with a soft, damp cloth to remove sweat, dust, and court debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners—plain water (or a mild soap solution, if needed) is all you’ll ever need. Thoroughly dry the frame and grip before storing to prevent mold or mildew.

Protect the Frame
Never lean your racket face‐down on rough surfaces or toss it into a bag without a cover. Invest in a padded racket cover or sleeve to shield the frame and surface from scratches and dings during transport.

Maintain Your Grip
Replace overgrips every 10–15 hours of play—or sooner if they become slick. When installing a new overgrip, remove any debris on the handle first, then wrap carefully to avoid wrinkles. A fresh grip not only feels better but also protects the underlying handle from sweat and oils.

Avoid Extreme Temperatures
Don’t leave your racket in a hot car, near radiators, or in direct sunlight for extended periods. Excessive heat can warp carbon fibers or soften the foam core, altering the racket’s balance and performance. Likewise, very cold conditions can make the face more brittle—store your racket in a room‐temperature environment.

Check for Damage Regularly
Inspect the frame, edge guard, and face for any hairline cracks or chips before each season. Even minor damage can worsen over time and affect play. If you spot any significant cracks or dents, consult a pro shop—sometimes minor repairs are possible, but often a replacement is safer.

Re-String Dampener & Accessories
If you use a vibration dampener, remove it periodically and clean both the dampener and the hole area to prevent trapped moisture. Keep any badges, stickers, or accessories dry and replaceable in case they peel off in humid conditions.

Store Properly
When not in use, hang your racket by its handle on a wall rack or lay it flat in its cover. Avoid leaning multiple rackets together without separation, as frames may abrade one another. A dedicated sports closet or gear rack is ideal.
